Here at Twenty5Eight, we feel strongly that a good idea is nothing without a great team! We’re proud of the people behind the scenes and we think it’s important that you get to know them, nearly as well as we do. So, take some time out and get to know team Twenty5Eight; meet Emily Wells, Field Team Co-ordinator.

What is your main job at Twenty5Eight?

I am the Field Team Co-ordinator, so I support our Head of Operations in booking and managing campaigns alongside helping the Marketing team to recruit lots of brilliant new people to our database.

What is your morning routine before you start work?

After I roll out of bed, I pop the kettle on because I cannot get throughout the day without a nice coffee in the morning!

What do you enjoy most about your role?

Speaking to so many different people every day and having a good chat with them! We’re lucky that we have so many interesting and lovely people as part of our field team, so I always look forward to meeting them.

What’s the most challenging aspect of your job?

Not having enough hours in the day! I think most bookers in field marketing industry can relate to that one.

What was your dream job growing up?

If I’m being honest, I genuinely wanted to be a spider when I grew up! But, once I realised I’d probably never be an insect, I was desperate to be a personal shopper in Harrods.

What was your first job on leaving school?

My first ever job was working on a pet stall in the local town market. I used to weigh out the bird seed, make the cups of tea and chat with customers.

How did your education or past experiences prepare you for your current role?

My previous job was as a Sales Manager in Debenhams, so my retail experience helps me to organize and plan when booking campaigns, but, the most important thing I learnt that I still apply now is how to be a team player.

Professionally who do you look up to?

I really look up to my friend and former colleague, Gill Louise. She’s the most hardworking and committed person that I know and no matter how tough a challenge is, she has the ability to take everything in her stride, all while being a great team leader and genuinely nice person.

How do you think your colleagues see you?

Organized, committed and willing to do what needs to be done!

What characteristics do you admire most in others?

Kindness and positivity

What are your words to live by?

“The more you give the more you get”

What is one thing that you couldn’t live without?

Friends and family

What do you do in your down time?

I’m usually socialising with friends and I love going out for meals. I also spend a lot of time (and money!) on interiors for my house.

What’s your go to karaoke song?

Anything by Alicia Keys or Joss Stone

What was the last photo you took on your phone? Of me and my lovely friend Laurie having a cheeky prosecco in our hotel room

Finally, what has been your best moment with Twenty5Eight so far?

The best moment, so far, was booking my first campaign from start to finish. I felt such a massive sense of achievement!
